Workforce development is an important part of HCAN’s work with the Nebraska’s community health centers to develop personalized recruitment and retention strategies. We strive to achieve health care access for all and to eradicate health disparities to assure every Nebraskan has affordable and regular primary health care providers.
HCAN collaborates with regional and national partners to create a strong and effective primary care workforce for the health centers. Whether it’s researching viable financial models, or providing trainings on provider productivity, HCAN is committed to providing support and training around recruitment and retention. Nebraska community health centers who are interested in workforce development assistance through HCAN are encouraged to contact Keshia Bradford, Director of Strategic Initiatives at KBradford@HCANebraska.org .
