The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is a nonprofit Primary Care Association who is committed to enhancing and expanding access to quality, community-responsive healthcare for Nebraska’s medically underserved and uninsured. Members of HCAN are Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) that provide medical, dental and behavioral health services for over 115,000 Nebraskans. HCAN was established in 2011 and is funded primarily through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
