Advocacy
Our Vision: Health centers are strategically sought out from key stakeholders, partners and decisions makers to be a key resource and leader in advocating for health access and coverage, and advancing policies that promote access to quality, equitable healthcare.
For over 50 years, health centers have received strong bipartisan support, which is key to HCAN’s patient advocacy and raising the voice of community health centers and the underserved. HCAN spearheads advocacy efforts for the community health centers, focusing on issues that impact access to affordable, community-based health care.
- Policy monitoring and analysis are provided to health centers to help staff, board members and community supporters be better informed to take action.
